furnace questions

Just doesn't seem to be enough info there to answer the question to me. What type of furnace? What size unit, as in BTU's? Where does it get mounted, etc.? I paid close to that for a, replacement, new 3 ton HD A/C and heat pump unit, completely installed, two or three years ago. But that's in my area. My daughter paid over $10,000 to have her "boiler" replaced in her home in Fairbanks, AK. just last year. If you ever see one of those units you'll understand why! More info on your situation please and I'm sure someone will give answers which will help you. Merry Christmas, David
