Funk In Bathtub...

Hello everyone,
I have a slight problem in my bathtub that is mostly just a nuisance but I haven't figured out how to get rid of the problem. Inside the tub there is some kind of funk that looks like dirt but will not go away. Its a brownish color and I have tried EVERYTHING to remove it! I've bleached the tub more than a few times and scrubbed relentlessly and it will not go away at all.

Does anyone know of any "magic" solution for cleaning tubs? I have considered re-glazing the tub but don't know much about the process. Can it be a do-it-yourself job or do you need a contracter? Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Nick

Funk In Bathtub...

Try some pool chlorine on a Q-Tip on a small spot. Rinse well after testing. Failing that, try RustAid using the same test. I'm talking the size of the end of a Q-Tip here, don't smear it over a 4" section. Rinse well again.

I'd be surprised if one or the other doesn't clear it up. If not, come back.
