French Door Outswing

I would like to install a 5 foot Outswing Right hand unit French style Patio door. THis is imperative do to existing contruction and limited space available. Lowes only sells an Inswing Left hand unit in Houston and to order what I want will cause the price to double, yes double. Is it possible to alter the sill assembly or reverse the hinges to achieve what I want? How complicated is this.

If I'm understanding this correctly, couldn't you just turn the whole thing around 180 deg? Then move the doorknob accordingly.

Thats what I was thinking but the threshhold sticks out further on the outside to hang over the foundation. Thought that might cause a problem as far as being weather tight? Thanks for the reply!

Most of the time the threshold on an outswing door is designed different from an inswing in the way it sheds water. You would need to put the brickmold on the outside which isn't a big deal, but the threshold won't reach out to match the same projection.

No, you can't reverse an exterior door swing. It's the weatherstripping thing.
What price point are you looking for, for this unit?
