Framing on top of poured concrete wall

Hi, I have a 1953 split level with a back patio that has the jalousie windows and doors all the way around, on top of the concrete wall. I would like to make it a more usable and livable room by putting in a few new windows and sliding glass doors. I would like to reframe and remove the old steal from the jalousie windows, but since I have to saw and make portions of the poured wall bigger for the sliding door then I can frame. Just curious on framing the wood on the poured wall. Thanx

After you remove all the framing and get to the sill, you should see bolts holding the sill to the foundation. If they're in good shape and spaced properly you can use them again. If not, you'll install additional fastening devices.
On the concrete you'll put down a sill seal which keeps the pressure treated wood off the concrete and seals the inevitable gaps between the concrete and the sill.

Thanx ron, I'm pretty sure that I will have to make some supports all the way around while I tear down the old framing
