Framing rough opening on top of foundation

If I'm framing a rough opening (replacing a horrible job) where there is a foundation wall beneath, how is the best way to attach the king and jack studs to the foundation? There is a joist resting where I want to put a king stud. On the other side is just bare concrete block. I know if it was a sill plate I could just toenail it in, but I'm not sure about this.

This is an interior wall, I think it used to be a porch but is now just an interior room. A slab extends beyond the foundation, proving the floor for the room.

Thanks!

Not sure exactly what your asking, but if your wanting to nail the king stud to a block wall, use a piece of treated lumber in the size you need, pre drill holes along the length of it, and then set it in place. Using a concrete drill bit, drill through the pre drilled holes into the concrete and nail it in place using concrete nails or screw it in using Tapcon screws. Screws may be a better way to go with concrete block which could crack when forcing a nail through it. Then nail your jack stud in place. That's what I'd do.

Maybe post a pic if possible!
