might have posted in wrong topic, does anyone know how to cut fire bricks? I need to line a wood stove and have to trim off 2 inches to line the bottom of a wood stove. thanks

Borrow a tile saw, and just take it slow and easy, or, you can use a cheaper masonry blade in a skil saw, same thing, slow and easy.

Dry diamond blade in a skilsaw works pretty good. Firebrick should be pretty soft. Googles, mask, slow. No blood.

Tile or brick saw will work or use a segmented diamond blade on a skilsaw.Make a series of shallow cuts periodically giving the blade a chance to cool.A brickset with a little practice will also work.
