Question

Finding resale value of carpenter tools?

My brother has recently passed away and I need to find fair values for his tools that I need to thin out. He did remodeling and deck building work, so all the tools fit into what ever you would use for those jobs. Any HELP or suggestions for sites would be appreciated!

Guideline of about 30 to 40 per cent of new pricing.
If they are in excellent condition, perhaps 50-60 percent.

Make a list and get the current new prices and go from there.

Sorry to hear about the brother...

E-bay or Craigs list could give you iedas about used tools. Amazon could help you figure out the price of similar new tools. Sorry about your brother.
