Looking a little over spanned, hope you have a purlin going in there. What's the plan with the windows?

The span is actually only 12'. Them windows are my neighbor's. I think he plans on keeping the drapes pulled while I am up on the roof.

Is it just the camera angle or does the hip rafter in the first picture (post 13) not come to the corner? I know the paralax in the camera lense probably makes the long eave board look bowed but it looks like the hip rafter does not hit the corner. If so that will be a pain to sheath.

no, that is in fact a major screw up by my seasoned carpenter of 40 some years. We had a blow out over it yesterday but he swore it would come out in the wash. All you can do sometimes is trust someone and when it don't pan out you'll know better next time.
