Question

exterior french door inserts

I have french doors with plastic grids. The inside grid holds the outside grid in place. I wanted to put new inserts in with blinds in between the glass. When I took off the inside grid of course there is nothing to hold the outside grid and glass. I would really like to get rid of all grids, but I must stay in the budget. Is there anyway I can use the glass insert with the blind and if so how would I hold the existing glass and outside grid in?
