Extension springs

I need to replace my garage door extension springs. My old one are colored coded, light blue. The garage door weights out at 80 lbs.. The old spring size is 36" (extended @ 72"). Could only find replacements at 25". They do not give the extended length on the package. They are coded "light blue", and are 90 lb rated. Will they work with my 7' door?

No, 25 inch springs will not replace 36 inch springs.

I do a lot of overhead doors, and I have never seen any color codes.

Look for a door company and call them, see if they will sell you the correct springs.
