electrical


need to find the best way to cancel a switchthat operates my outlets.Would like to make outlet hot at all times .Use the switch to add and control a few recess lights

Post in the electrical forum with all the wire connection in the switch and the receptacle.

If you want the outlet hot all the time just take the two wires off the switch and twist them together and put a wire nut on them.
You would then need to run a new 3 wire line to the lights, say a 14-3.
