drywall finishing

cl hudson Newbie   Join Date: Nov 2011 Posts: 2	drywall finishing accidentally used topping compound instead of all purposed to tape and finish drywall, how much of an issue is this?

iminaquagmire Member     Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: Chicagoland Posts: 164	drywall finishing Topping, lightweight, and easysand don't have the stickiness that all purpose does. You can have tape failure where it separates from the joint. Like oh'Mike said, not much you can do about it now. Fix any issues if and when they occur.
