it might help if you let people know where you are, no-one's going to drive across the country to drill your piles. (Or across the Atlantic)

If you are really the engineer for this project, why aren't you opening the Blue Book and looking for yourself?

Or perhaps you're an engineer of another type of industry, and you're acting as your own GC for this project? In any event, posting on a DIY board for someone to drill piles in LA is just a little weird. There's got to be a dozen contractors right in your county that can do that.

Actually, a friend of mine has referred me to this forum by sending me a link ... , I thought this is for California residents, that is why I didn't mention my address.

So if I shouldn't have sent it here, just disregard it!
By the way I have searched on the internet, and all I found was commercial not residential.

Thanks.

Look in the yellow pages.

There are many contractors in the LA area that do that type of work.

Most will be able to do both commercial and residential, but do not advertise for residential. They obviously shy away from individual residential projects because of shopping, poor plans and contracts, small jobs the ratio of risk to profit. Some will not even look at it unless there is a plan signed by an engineer.

The equipment is substantial and the transportation and set-up does not make residential projects attractive unless there is enough work to make it worthwhile.
