doorbell

I'm trying to replace my doorbell (the bell part not the button) which I'm sure should be simple but I'm very new to house repairs. In the bell there are wires for front, rear, transformer that are all hooked up. Then there are two wires that come out of the wall and are supposed to connect to the bell unit... where am I supposed to connect those two wires inside the bell unit?

doorbell

In your new bell there should pretty good directions on what colored wires go where. Some times there are an extra set of wires for a second hook-up like a button on the back door. The size of the wire is important also, if it is small wire(low-voltage) then it comes from the transformer if it is regular size wire it goes to the transformer. Maybe someone will come along with a better answer.

No idea without know what bell you have, or at least a picture is of where the wires connect.
Sounds like the wires from the transform to supply the power.
Could be anyone of these.
