DIY YouTube, how “NOT” to do it.

It’s amazing how much bad information is out there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jXge...ure=grec_index

Does anyone else have any “How Not To Do It” YouTube Videos?

I’m not talking about the guy getting smacked with a board stuff but just bad information.

Wow... I may have actually done work that sloppy before, but I knew enough to not put it on Youtube as if it was correct!

It takes a lot of balls to do work that poorly then put it up on You Tube for the whole world to see how incompetent you are.

If I was going to put something like that on YouTube, I sure as heck wouldn't show my face. I'd probably also refrain from calling it, "Colek."

Not to get off the tracks here but it amazes me how many people come here and call it "chalk".

ie;
QUESTION: "What kind of chalk should I buy to chalk my bath tub?"
ANSWER: Beats the hell out of me...Purple maybe?

That video is only one from that guy on how to fix “that wall“, look at some of the other suggested videos next to it.

These tips have to be the right way to do it. How can you disagree with the Village Experts?

A couple years ago on a pro forum we discussed some videos on youtube from a guy who had a carpet repair company. My 6 year old grandson could do better work.

I've got progressive trifocals & all, but I could swear he was holding the top of the level about an inch away from the post.
