DIY Architecture for Dogs
Just thought I'd share something interesting I stumbled on. It's a website that offers blueprints for designer dog houses that you can build at home. I like the wooden slopes made to give dachshunds an eye level view of their owners.

A few of those are cool, but some are absolutely ridiculous.
Also, I love my dogs; between my girlfriend and I we have three. But some people are WAY over the top. |

Yeah, I hear the guy who started the project did it because "'I have the impression that the whole world is interested in babies and dogs."
So look forward to some insane cribs for his next project? |

Heard Paris Hilton spent $38K on this one for her pups. Of course that includes a custom interior with heat and HVAC and custom iron gates, fencing and balconies ironwork. Plumbing and electrical is to code. Of course the landscaping increases curb appeal. God forbid the money go to Habitat for Humanity or something and a modest dog house?
![]() There is a guy that custom builds dog houses to match old homes. ![]() ![]() And folks, do not skimp on the interiors.

Three words come to mind.......over the top. I'm all for giving dogs comfort, I like dogs, but I really don't think they care how their house looks.
