Ok, so I went to look at a new investment property the other day. The usual hasnt been updated since the 60's thing, older person. Anyways, I get to the bathroom, and to my surprise....

I never saw such a thing.
It looks as if someone sprayed some sort of thick acrylic around the tub walls, bottom half of bathroom walls and floor. And then added some speckled material to it. There are no seams anywhere, so it is ONE piece. The walls are connected to the floor, and the tub walls....all this in a 8x9 bathroom!
The nice thing was, it is in fantastic condition. The owners son is in his 60's and said he could remember when his dad had it done in the 60's! I have done ALOT of houses in my day, but never saw anything like this.
It makes for a nice flip I guess, but I just want to make sure its not some asbestos thing of some sort someone came up with!
I am lost, I have been searching the internet for days to see anything like it....zip, nada, nothing.
I am in the Pittsburgh PA area if that helps anyone. Does ANYONE have ANY clue what this might be? I dont think I would remove it, but if I did, it looks like I would need a jackhammer!!!
