Left-hand, battery powered? Too cool. My next skil-type saw will be left-handed for sure.

one more thing

Hey Joe, that is a question I get a lot at work. My name is Ray and I work at Home Depot in the hardware dept, so Ive seen it all. One thing to check is the spacer behind the blade, if you've got that in the right place, between the motor and the blade , you're ready to rip.

Generally, the label on the blade faces the outside. I have a sinking feeling that the saw is not cutting properly. Its not you..its the saw. I own the same saw. I love Ryobi tools but the circ. saw is garbage. Worked fine for a while but now it takes an hour to cut through a popsicle stick! AND it splinters anything you try to cut. The torque is just not there after using it a couple of times even with a fully charged battery.

Circular saw blade

Yes. A good way to remember is the writing (what type of blade it is--Ryobi) is able to read (on the outside)
