Copper tank

Hi, I am having a house in north London renovated and the builders have taken out a large copper water cylinder- it is approx 4 feet tall and has a diameter of about 18 inches. I have been told it has scrap value - can anyone give me a guide as to what I should get for it? Many thanks

Copper tank

Copper has gone up in price about 3 times. You could weight the tank and then call a local scrap yard and ask how much they pay per pound/kilo?
