condensation in cathedral ceiling

I am trying to solve and correct a problem in an unfinished attic space where we are working to create a bedroom in an old attic space , we have just put on a new roof and i installed soffit vent ,ridge vent and baffles to create air flow and then i added cathedral ceiling insulation in rafters but have not gotten the drywall up yet , We have now found that the underside of new roof under baffles is condensing bad need the best fix to correct this

The warmer air of the room is coming into contact with the cooler exterior air. There are gaps in the insulation or the vapor barrier. A continuous 6 mil plastic vapor barrier is much better at sealing the space then foil or kraft paper insulation.

Cathedral ceilings are a real challenge. As an alternative to batts and poly, you can also use spray foam insulation. A closed cell foam not only insulates better than batts (higher R value per inch) but it also acts as an excellent vapor barrier between the living space and the underside of the roof or baffles. You will have to do some searching to find a contractor in your area.

Did you install faced, or unfaced insulation?

If it is unfaced insulation, do you have a vapot barrier installed over it, facing the warm space of the room?
