have old home with concrete block walls. are now wallpapered some of it is coming loose would like to remove. would like to paint wall but you see each block, don't like that. is there a product that can be put on the wall without drywalling the whole thing. have done that in other rooms. help
First, welcome to the site! I moved your thread to the general discussion from the how-to guides section...It'll get more attention here.
Drywalling over block exterior walls probably isn't a great idea due to the possibility of moisture vapor penetrating the walls. Mold, etc. You could probably do some sort of stucco coat on the interior of the house if you want to hide the block look. Then paint that.

If the walls are clean, you could "butter them up" w/ the type of mortar they use (or used to?) to seal blocks. (No rock, of course, and a little extra lime, if I recall what my Dad did). You can get that pretty smooth, or at least an experienced person could. Just a thought. Glue on wood paneling?
