compressor question

Did you look for a plate on the motor describing the wires?

Most switches only have two wires, does not matter which one go's where.

compressor question

Green is ground in box, prefer to wire for 240v, per motor plate schematic. Lower amperage, better start, longer life of all things. Switch would be 2 pole. 2 hots in, 2hots out... Need to ck motor plate...
