Chimney Damper sealing

I have a set of unvented gas logs in my fireplace. I know I am loosing a little heat past the closed damper.
I have looked for a thin insulation to lay in the opening and close the damper but I can't find any that is "fire-proof" enough to satisfy me.
Any suggestions?

Chimney Damper sealing

Buy a chimney damper balloon. These are meant to perfectly seal the flue.
