ceramic tile transition to laminate

Help! I have laminate floor and already installed transition strip to carpet. Removed carpet to install tile. Laminate transition piece and tile are flush...my question is, do i space the tile off the strip and grout as I would the entire project, or do I butt the tile against the strip (which is straight and square) with no grout? If I do space it and grout, should I install a metal edge between strip and grout with the metal edge butted up to the laminate transition strip?

You need to leave an expansion gap around the perimeter of any laminate floor. The flooring you're using has a "T" molding that will go between the laminate and the tile and cover the intersection and the gap.
