ceiling heat

I need to hang a pot rack from the ceiling but I have electric ceiling heat... how do I know where to drill in order to hang the rack?

Hard to tell, unless you use x-ray glasses.

If the electric heat is a mesh product, you won't be able to without damaging the heating element.

Turn on the heat and then take a photo of the ceiling with an infrared camera.
Before taking the photo make a grid with aluminum tape as a reference point.

I appreciate the feedback. A smart solution wildie.
I went ahead a pulled back the sheeting over the ceiling joists and located them visually, No chance of mistakes that way.. Hot up there but worth it.
