Cats are spraying in back yard...smells really bad?

How can I keep any cats from spraying in my backyard? I don't want to hurt the cats, I just want to keep them from thinking of coming around.

Ideas?

Try tossing a few handfuls of mothballs on the bushes they're nailing

I thought I've read that somewhere and it would work!

You wouldn't do that would you ya big meanie

The little girl down the lane doesn't deserve to have her beloved pet killed because its marking its territory

You said you don't want to hurt the cat and just keep that attitude

Bird shot is what comes out of a shotgun :(:(:(

When stray cats keep coming into the yard and fighting with my cats, causing me vet bills: They have worn out their welcome and the little girl down the street had better keep her cat in its own territory.

Its not her fault your cat is such a pussy

Water hose with motion sensor.

Paintball gun, ask around if anyone has a multicoloured cat, and then tell them to keep it inside!

I have a small PETA approved trap.....I trap their little ass and call animal control.....

One cat we caught had a few weeks before attacked my 4 year old daughter....3 stitches in the eye lid.....

Last month, one of the cats we rescued had some serious damage...$628 later....she stays home a bit more often....

There is one tom cat left that I am trying to catch....this guy is without a doubt a bully.....fights will ALL of the other cats....

How do you catch cats? Do you put food or something in the trap?

I am needing a solution also. The neighborhood cats enjoy burying their stinky “presents” in my landscaping mulch. I have read on some other sites to put vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray the area. Also use cayenne pepper. I have not tried these yet. I saw the motion detected sprinkler but it was about $70!

If you know who owns the roaming cat you can ask them to be responsible and get their pet altered and keep it on their property. If this fails then shoot them and adopt the cat as your own.
