Catching up on us.......

I want to thank everyone who gave us some great ideas and suggestions on my first thread.... Even of we hadn't wanted to move into the new house while we fixed it up, the weather here in Arkansas made it a necessary move.....our old house became unsafe. Once we moved in we began meeting our neighbors and have found some great information. About four years ago there was an elderly lady who lived here and a local church redid the house to make it easier to heat and cool. On the other hand we found to that this house only has 110 electricity coming into the house...lol

However, one of our neighbors is a retired master electrician who wants to pass time by helping us bring the house up to 220....and he even has most of the parts we'll need. So we ended up being very lucky

Why do you need more than 110? I mean, that's all a microwave, TV and a beer cooler require.....
