Cabot Wood Preservative Semi-Transparent?

I am considering redoing a fence and playset with this. Does anyone have any experience with or recommendations on this product?

Thank you!

Dont have much experience with Cabots

My favorites are Sikkens SRD, Gemini TWP for transparents if you want an oil product

Benjamin Moore Arborcoat is a hybrid that is soap and water cleanup

2 years is the average before recoat with those products.

Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I do not have a Sikkens dealer in my local area. I used a water/linseed oil product from Olympic, but it faded in less than 2 years. I'm willing to spend more, if I can find something that will last longer.
Thanks again.

As the technology sits now, 2 years is pretty good on horizontal surfaces, vertical will do better ( last longer )

I like those products that I recommended because they tend to fade and get lighter, making for easier maintenance. Many of the sealers available get darker with age, or fade somewhat blotchy requiring removal before reapplication. For me, its all about easy maintenance rather than longevity, because the longevity just isnt there. Many products will claim "X" year warranty...I havent found any that make it full term :) Look around and read some reviews.
