burning eyes after home work

We recently installed a new shower and flooring in our upstairs bathroom and also applied fresh paint to the walls and ceilings in that bathroom as well as the one downstairs. The two adults here in the house, as well as our tenant in the apartment attached to our home, are experiencing burning eyes. This has been happening for several weeks now. My mother visited yesterday and complained of this also. Any guesses on what could be the cause? Thanks!

I'll take VOC's and closed windows for $500, Alex.

Gluten intolerance. You can start by cracking a few windows to let a little fresh air in
