While doing some stuff at my mothers house, I noticed there is a bubble in the vinyl cladding of a door under the sink. She previously had a water problem under the sink from a poorly installed water filter. The leak was hidden and, by the time it was found, caused a need for big repairs. I suspect it was this water problem that lead to the bubble.
Anyway, the bubble is about the size of a pack of smokes. Is there anyway to fix this?
Absent any specific proven method, I was thinking about using a needle and injecting some thin glue through the bubble and then putting eight on it until set.
Is this a thermofoil or formica door? You would need to know the right glue/adhesive to use. It would need to be compatible with the adhsive used originally.
If it's formica, you can use an iron over a towel to reactivate the contact cement. You just need to be careful about the heat and roll the repair to get good adhesion.
I have no idea about the thermofoil coating.
