Brick Patio Issue

Our patio was built with our house about 5 years ago and it seems like the sand is erroding from between the cracks. What would we need to do to fill those gaps and what tools/kind of sand to use?

Brick Patio Issue

I moved your post from the how-to guides subforum as it is a question and not a how-to guide.

Is your brick patio dry-laid or are the joints mortared? If it is dry-laid just take a push broom and sweep fine dry sand all over the patio. Work it back and forth so it fills the gaps between the pavers or bricks. That's how it is done when pavers are laid, and it is a maintenance thing that you may have to do from time to time.
