Big draft behind vanity
Recently had plumbing work done and he redid the plumbing behind my bathroom vanity...im getting a serious draft coming from this hole, the wall is tiled, so any ideas of a quick fix to stop this draft!? Attached is a picture...

Looks like he used an M80 to make that hole.
First I would go under the house in that area and seal up the holes through the bottom plates with high expanding foam, then about all you can do now is stuff fiberglass insulation in that hole. |

Strange to have a breaze in an inside wall. I'd be looking in the attic around where the vent goes through the top plate for a gap that needs foam around it. The falling cold air from the cold attic may be it.

I just had an energy audit performed and that is the exact spot that I was told to fill with insulation. I was told it is totally normal. I was also told to install safety plugs in unused outlets. Even the ones on inside walls

cold air is just dropping down and hitting the hole slab adds to the temp also.a spray can of foam HD/LOWES start in the back and foam it out go slow cause that stuff expands super fast and sets.old rag stuff in there for now

Never heard of an energy audit that called for safety plugs in outlets, sure they did not mean foam die cut outlet covers that go behind the covers of outlets and switch covers?
