Best Way to Seal exposed insulation on interor wall?

See diagram below. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the unfaced side which is exposed to my storage area (2nd floor cape cod).

I think the best idea is to nail/glue polystyrene to this side to add additional insulation and prevent me from getting itchy every time I crawl into the storage to pull something out. Is there something easier that I can simply staple onto the wall? (Like a vapor barrier or insulative "blanket")

Your insulation is installed backwards. The vapor barrier should be on the warm side. But to answer your question, staple up some 6-mil poly and tape the seams.

Vapor barrier is on warm side, the side that has the drywall in the bedroom. The exposed side is in an area for storage that is "insulated but not heated".

House wrap or rigid sheathing material on the attic side of the knee-wall insulation protects the insulation from wind washing:Fig.4: http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...archterm=insul

I have plywood floor down, referring to the non-drywall side of the interior wall. I'm thinking I'm just going to use house wrap on it
