Hello, i was hoping someone can help me out. I am looking for a program for my computer where i can draw out a floor plan and build interior walls and when im done, i can do a 3D walk though of the interior and exterior, and it shows everything in detail from where the coffee table is to what colour the walls will be. i know, many programs on the net do this, i am just wondering what is the best one. and if someone could recomend one that offers a trail period that would be helpful because i only need it for one project, thankyou.
I'll admit my experience with these progs is limited to a few, but my take is that if you can learn it quickly, it is too simple to do what you want. And if it is complex enough to do what you really want, its too hard to learn for one project.
Punch Pro, no trialware though. it's the best i've seen AND is easy to use. (ok, small learning curve, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to shape the roof. and it's rated #1)
I used Punch Pro, it's awesome! It's really easy to learn (not at all like Autocad) and the results are astonishing. I did my entire house and garden within a couple of days, and when you use the hi-def rendering it's like a photograph.
Now I use Sketchup which you can download free from Google. This program takes a few nights to master but it is VERY powerful. Start with simple shapes and you'll be fine..
I just bought punch architectural series about a month ago and it has more features than pro but it also takes some reading threw a 1" users guide to get a grip on.
