bathroom vapour barrier

Doing a complete reno of bathroom with one "outside" wall. What needs to be covered with vapour barrier besides the outer wall and ceiling? (behind tub surround? walls adjoining rest of house?)

Vapor barriers are not a "one size fits all" thing. Their correct usage and location in the wall layers are specific to your exact climate, or in some cases such as along the east and gulf coasts, a "microclimate". A true non permeable vapor barrier , like visqueen, can do lots of harm if used incorrectly.
