bathroom trim?

I have put up new MDF trim through most of the house, and now I want to add some trim to the bathroom. I already have up MDF door casings but I got to thinking if MDF gets wet its ruined.

Should I remove the MDF casing and go with a different type of wood? solid wood, or possibly even the vinyl trim? Or can I keep the MDF casing and do something better along the floors. Im doing typical 1x4 baseboard and 1x2 door casings. Or is it even that big of a deal to have MDF baseboard in a bathroom??

Thoughts and opinions?

Thanks in advance

They make plastic base molding that would not be affected by water.

Solid wood would be the best option for both durability and looks. I haven't seen any vinyl or foam stuff that looks very good...it looks ummm, plastic. I did my basement bathroom with tile for base. A 4" x 6" bullnosed tile that compliments the floor tile.
