Basement wall leaking


I have water that runs over a basement wall when we have heavy rain and wind. We have a brick house.
There is a window on the main floor just above the wall. How do I check to see where the water is coming from?

Without some picture of the outside of the house it's anyones guess. Were not there to see it.
