basement entry

hello

I have a question that some of the contractors may be able to field. I am building a home in northern Colorado and would like to find a precast basement entry system that are commonly used on the east coast. None of the companies are willing to ship their product west for others to install

any suggestions?

We use doors out here. Maybe with a metal frame?

You can always come out for a visit and take one home with you!

So did you ever figure out a way to get a Bilco door and/or Bilco's precast concrete entry system to Colorado?

I find myself in a similar situation, I got an estimate to put a custom entry in for around $6K, not too bad, but I would like to get it down a little bit.
