Assistance with Hayward Dynamax pool pump bearing question

hello
I know pool experts roam here, so I venture to ask.

I have an older Hayward Dynamax pool pump that is quite noisy. After many searches and forums, I see that the bearings could be the culprit. I am contemplating replacing them, but in my manual I dont even see bearings listed as a part number. Does anyone know how I can find instructions for intelligent dissassembly, replacement, and re-assembly? I have a contact at Pentair/Hayward, and hopefully he can come through with something. I am looking for the resourcefulness and smarts usually found in forums..

I am willing to try it, but I dont want to end up with a non-working pump and parts left over because I screwed up.

I am also looking for a way to dampen some of the noise. I just layed a concrete slab underneath, and I'd like to cushion the vibrations a bit. I havent come across something waterproof yet.

thanks
