Anyone else never get tired of home improvement projects?

I've completed about 25 projects in my house since purchased less than two years ago and I can easily think of about 20 more. Am I the only one that has a laundry list of projects waiting and cant wait to start them all? OCD?

Just looking for general discussion.

Nope, never done....Isn't that why they call it a money pit? If I ever win the lottery, I'll have premium supplies delivered rather than ever go back to home depot, but the work won't stop.

Not only do I have my own punch list but once a month I go out into the community and help others do work on their homes. Man I am nuts about this stuff! My wife and I where talking last night about trying our hand at a few flips too.

As I always say... " A house is like a ship... If your not painting something or replacing something, your falling behind!"

But the fun of doing a job well and making your house a better place is
worth all of it!

Plus it's a good excuse to by cool, neat tools!

not me

My wife and I have been working on our house since last July. Sure it is nice to get a break once in a while, sure wish all those breaks weren't bc we had to go out of town, had to work or something like that. Already have a list of projects to help friends do on their houses and haven't even finished up my own. I have been very lucky and gotten tons of help from my parents, good friend, some from my brother and inlaws as well.

I have an entire floor of my house left to do, but it is going to wait another year or so before we can do everything how we want to. Just finished the first floor.

And then some of this do it for a living....ever heard the expression "the cobler's children have no shoes"?...well...after living with a remodel in progress for 8 years, my wife said the new home takes priority and we won't be moving til the house is is much easier to work an unoccupied all the difference between remodels and new construction....and if any of you wonder, new construction moves a lot faster then a remod.
