I guess we're really lucky around here, because we've only had minimal damage we couldn't fix a handful of times in 25 years. Maybe the kids are just too lazy here............

But when you say you're within a few blocks of a few schools, that's definately a big red flag, and the concrete's going to need some extra babysitting.

Cover 'em with plywood next time perhaps. Out of sight out of mind.

Looks like there are a bunch of plane old idiots where you live. Glad I don't live there, if I did there would be some changes made.

As far as the kids doing the damage, this is their parents fault that they have raised them to be this type of persons. Thus their parents should pay for the repairs.

The only thing we did when I was a youngster (and that was some 68 years ago) was on Halloween when we used to turn over peoples out houses. Yes that is right when I was a kid it was really country where I lived which is the same general area I live in now.

Hope no one was in those out houses......

Update -
They poured the walks yesterday.
They look good!
(2 1/2 truck loads)

We ran "caution" tape and sat outside until, about 8 pm.
The "kiddies" didn't like to see us there - ha, ha, ha!!!!
(I can be a "glowering", "menace"!)
Jeeesh! - dozens and dozens of them!

Went down to the corner-store around 8:30 -
Came back and a guy from the "crete" co. was there with a flashlight -
Yeah, someone "tagged" it in a couple of places!

A finisher came back between 9:30 - 10:30 and fixed it.

Just went out and looked at it -
Excellent!!!
Very "green", though.
So far - a happy ending!!
