Air Compressors?

Do any of you folks know if Husky Brand air compressors are made by Campbell Hausfeld. I looked at a 60 gal 3.2hp one today at home depot and the tank id tag said Campbell Hausfeld on it. Are they any good?

Im going to be using it while working on my hot rod. It was rated at 10.2scfm @ 90psi. Will this work?

Thanks,
Evan

Air Compressors?

Manufacturers can change things without notice, but from what I've seen and heard during my own recent compressor shopping, the CH made Husky compressors are not prone to failure under normal use. Most folks seemed happy with them.

What you really need to know before buying a compressor is what you want to do with it. What tools do you intend to run? 10.2 SCFM @ 90, for example, is really not going to power something like a straight line air sander for very long. With that information, it will be much easier for folks to guide you.

Air Compressors?

What he said. Check your air tools for CFM requirements. 10.2 may not be enough. Many quality air tools require a lot of air.
