X Brace, Cross Brace Removing

ejensen1 Newbie   Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 1	X Brace, Cross Brace Removing Under my home I would like to build a storage area for my jet skis, but I have run into a Cross Brace. Can I remove this if I sheer all the walls around??? See picture of brace... Thanks Eric Attached Thumbnails

Tho it may not be part of the original planned design, it could have been added because of structural issues during the construction or something that started to occur after.
