Wrap around stairs design question

Hi everyone,

I am replanking a worn out deck on the back of my house. I'm a homeowner who is fairly handy and enjoys doing these projects.

I would like to remove the railings from front and lower side, and add wrap around stairs (to open up the deck to the yard).

My question is about the stairs:

I'd like to continue where the stairs are now, and have them wrap the deck (Leaving the railing where the grill is in place). However, at a point about 2/3 of the way along the long side, i would need to go from two steps, to one. How do I go about this?
