Wood Stove Backing Board

I am moving my wood stove which we use to heat our house to a more central location. It will be in a corner on inside walls. We are going to put Ledgerock Stone behind it for protection. Would you use regular drywall as backing or a cement board?

I'd want 5/8 inch fire rated drywall or 5/8" Durrock---Just a little added insurance.

use the durarock, drywall is considered flammable, because of the paper surface - fire-rated drywall simply holds the fire back a little longer - it'll burn too.
If you really want to go the extra 5 miles for safety, stand the durarock off of the wall with hat channel for a vented air space behind it.

Cement board won't burn and would be a much better bonding surface for the stone application.
