Wood I-beams and trusses: Opinions?


Carpenter
Good - they are light and easy to work with, do not warp as easy, iniform size.

Bad - They bow sideways easy, have to make plywood to keep straight, Headers (LVL) and rimboard is sometimes off by 3/16" in height.
