Our wood burning fireplace is in need of a flue extension. The current flue is made of terra cotta/clay. Any ideas for where to buy and how to install?
You can have a pro brick mason add clay liners and brick up to the height where you need it, or you can find metal chimney pipe extensions at building supply places. These are drilled, sealed and bolted on.
They can come with revolving caps to keep out rain and wind.
Good Luck!
Mike
