Hey Everyone,
I'm a new member, trying to figure out what I did wrong. Last year I installed all new Jeld Wen pocket windows to replace the old counterweighted windows in my 1939 Cape Cod. The problem is that on most of the windows I installed, when the locks are open, the top sashes slide down just enough to disengage from the top of the window. They do not continue to slide down, they just 'pop out' about a quarter inch and then stay. As a result, when I want to lock the windows, I have to push the top sash up with my palm until it's all the way up to align the locks. I'm starting to think I did something wrong, but I can't figure out what it would be. Any ideas on where to start?
Thanks much!
