mt232 Member     Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: New Jersey Posts: 117	window installation - nails or screws I'm installing 42 x 42 double casements in new construction, with 2 x 4 framing....should I used nails or wood screws? what size? thanks!

Hi, Use 1/ 1/4" to 1 1/2" Roofing nails. Install the window properly while checking it for square/plumb/level and flat against the house's sheathing. Do not use screws. They will dimple and warp the window's flange. __________________ - Build Well -
