Window Flashing with Metal Siding
I've read a lot about the proper way to flash around a window/door with vinyl siding, but haven't seen much for metal siding. The big trick I'm seeing with vinyl, is to be sure the flashing at the bottom of the window overlaps the top of the last full piece of vinyl, giving the water a place to escape from behind the siding. Since this isn't an option with metal siding (meaning vertical sheets), whats the trick to make sure water isn't getting behind the siding?

as long as the flashing is outside the wrb you should be ok that where the primary protection is

So basically any water that gets behind the siding, will drain between the typar wrap the siding?

yes, very efficantly what are you doing along the bottom? j channel?transition? leaving it open? if you use a trim make sure the leg that goes up the wall is under the paper

a few drain holes drilled in j channel if thats what you are useing wouldn't hurt

I'm leaving it open, so I guess the water will just drain out.
